Full Description

The remains of a possible enclosure is visible as a cropmarked bank on aerial photographs of Stokeford Heath, Bere Regis (1). It measures approximately 40m x 40m, the bank being around 4m in width, with a possible entrance located at its north-east corner. It is possible this could be late prehistoric in date. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
