Full Description

A mound, approximately 14m in diameter, surrounded by a 1m wide outer ditch is visible as earthworks on Lidar imagery of Stokeford Heath (1). It is considered possible this could be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. Alternatively it could ba a modern or natural feature. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
