Chapel house on north end of former methodist chapel, probably eighteenth century in origin and contemporary with the chapel. The house is of two storeys, with rubble walls, slate roofs and brick chimney. It has irregular fenestration consisting of 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. (1) (2)

(2) METHODIST CHAPEL (83491823), with walls of ashlar of rubble and with a slated roof, is probably of late 18th-century origin; it was enlarged on the S. in 1824. The gabled S. front has segmental-headed doorway and, above a round-headed window with cast-iron lattice; two similar windows occur in each of the E. and W. walls; the N. end is masked by a cottage, perhaps contemporary with the original chapel. In the S. part of the E. wall are two tablets, one recording the date of the enlargement, the other with 'Ebenezer. Sam. VII, 12'. Inside, the meeting room (33ft. By 17ft) has a a plain gallery at the S. end.

Nonconformist chapel and chapel house, now private house. Probably C18 origin, enlarged in 1824 (RCHM). Rubble walls with half-hipped, slate roof. Brick stacks to cottage. Gable faces road. Chapel has round headed windows with simple Y-tracery and diamond lattice galzing bars. That facing the road has a C20 replacement without glazing bars. Round headed south door. The cottage end is of 2 storeys and has irregular fenestration. 2 light casements with horizontal glazing bars. RCHM, Dorset, vol IV, p15, no 2.
