Full Description
A curvilinear bank is visible as earthworks on 1947 RAF aerial photographs of Bloxworth Heath (1). It is located just to the north of the remains of Woolsbarrow Iron Age hillfort (MDO7215) and it is considered possible it may be contemporary with it. This site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not clearly visible on the most recent aerial images available to the project, this area now being obscured by vegetation.
