The disused remains of Dryclose Chalk Pit are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1), located to the north of Manor Farm, East Bloxworth . It is considered likely to be post medieval in date. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is still visible on the most recent aerial imagery available to the project.
