Full Description
A group of trackways are visible on aerial photographs of Lower Hyde Heath (1-3). They are considered likely to be associated with post medieval or modern extractive activity in this area (see MDO30053-54 & MDO30056-61). This site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. Some of these features are still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
