Full Description
A rectilinear structure, approximately 12.5m x 7m, is visible on aerial photographs of Lower Hyde Heath (1-2). It is considered possible this could be a military building associated with Second World War activities in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent aerial images available to the project, this area now being under plantation.
