Three rectilinear structures are visible on aerial photographs of Hyde Heath taken in 1947 (1). They appear to be situated across a low valley or area of wetland and are considered likely to be modern bridge-like structures allowing access across the heath. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, this area now being under heavy vegetation.
