Full Description
A large circular feature, approximately 23m in diameter, is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs of Bere Heath (1). Its close proximity to two potential Bronze Age round barrows (MDO7101 & MDO7102) suggest it could be associated with these. Alternatively it may be of natural origin. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
