Please read our .

Summary

An area of rectilinear features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of Woodbury Hill, located within the remains of an Iron Age hillfort (MDO7148). Although there is a possibility that these remains may be contemporary with the hillfort, it is considered more likely these could be the foundations of at least some, if not all, of the twenty-four historic buildings that were reputedly once sited along the track bisecting the hillfort and were demolished during the 19th century.
