A modern pier or landing stage is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1958, to the east of Bournemouth Pier. The pier appears to have been removed at a later date. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
