A 19th century or early modern groyne is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the west of Canford Cliffs Chine, Poole. The groyne extends to the south east for a distance of 23 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
