Full Description
A group of dispersed buildings are visible on aerial photographs of Ferrybridge taken in the 1940's (1-2). No structures are shown here on the 1907 OS Map, suggesting an early modern date for these buildings. They are considered most likely to be associated with Second World War military activity in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
