Full Description
A circular hollow is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 (1), located on the coast just to the west of Wyke Regis sewage works. It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
