A group of five dispersed circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2), located within fields just to the south-west of Wyke regis. They are considered likely to be the remains of bomb craters associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
