Full Description
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2) of Chesil Beach. It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
