Full Description
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1-2) of the Chesil Beach section of Wyke Regis Bridging Camp (MDO29869). It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent aerial photographs available to the project.
