A group of buildings, structures and roadways are visible on aerial photographs of Wyke Regis taken in 1947 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of a military site associated with Second World War activity in this area. This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
