Full Description
Hexagonal type 22 pillbox. [Shown on OS 1:2500 sheet SY 6578 (1957)].Between Norman's Store and Lynch Farm, East Fleet. <1-3>
A small hexagonal structure is visible on aerial photographs <4> and Lidar imagery <5> of Littlesea Holiday Park, Chickerell. It is considered likely to be the site of a Type 22 pillbox associated with Second World War activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
