Monument record MDO29840 - Second World War pillbox, Littlesea Holiday Park, Chickerell

A small hexagonal structure is visible on aerial photographs and Lidar imagery of Littlesea Holiday Park, Chickerell. It is considered likely to be the site of a Type 22 pillbox associated with Second World War activity in this area.

A small hexagonal structure is visible on aerial photographs <4> and Lidar imagery <5> of Littlesea Holiday Park, Chickerell. It is considered likely to be the site of a Type 22 pillbox associated with Second World War activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
