Full Description
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Wyke Regis, Weymouth taken in 1942 (1). It is possible this could be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
