Full Description

The site of a Royal Naval Hospital of possible 19th to early 20th century date is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s adjacent to the Easton and Church Hope Railway. Five large buildings with two smaller buildings to the north and to the south. The buildings are visible over an area measuring 85 m by 70 m. (1) The hospital is marked on the 2nd edition OS map. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
