A possible Second World War ammunition store is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the east of East Weare Batteries, Portland. The site consists of a line of four buildings within walled enclosures and possible blast walls around them. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
