A probable Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the east of a firing range (see MWX4360) at King's Pier Hollow, Portland. The crater is sub-circular and measures 6 m in diameter. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
