Full Description
A Second World War military camp , which may be associated with the Royal Navy Air Station Portland (HMS Sareptia) is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of the 1940s in King's Pier Hollow, Portland. The site consists of a number of buildings of varying size and uncertain function. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 500 m by 135 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
