Six possible Second World War foxholes or weapons pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1949. The pits are sub-rectangular and measure up to 7 m by 4 m. The pits are located between a heavy anti aircraft battery and an army camp and may have been associated with them (see linked records). (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
