Two areas of post medieval to modern extractive spoil are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the west of Cottonfields Quarries, Weston. The areas are sub-circular in shape and measure up to 25 m in diameter. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
