A possible post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s at Lawnsheds, Portland. The boundary is formed of a linear ditch oriented north west-south east and measuring 33 m in length. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
