Full Description

[Centred at SY 495889] Lynchets about 270 yds NE of BIND BARROW consist of two terraces, on the N slope of the hill. They are about 14 yds wide and 3ft high. <1>

In a small, grass covered area, are four strip lynchets set in an E-W direction. They are parallel and strongly defined at the E side where they approach the modern field boundary. Here they average 1.5m high but become less strong as they run to the W. They appear to be of Md. type. <2>

The system extends beyond Beach Road, where 6 strip lynchets alignedNorth-South, 160-250 yards long, now 2-3 feet high and 20 feet
across,occur below Bind Barrow. <3>
