Two rectilinear structures, probably buildings are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 in fields which are now under West Cliff Estate, West Bay. The features are no longer extant and are considered to be possibly of military origin dating to the Second World War (1). The features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
