A small structure 2.5m across, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 on the cliff-top at West Cliff. It is of uncertain function and possibly of military origin dating to the Second World War. (1). The features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
