Full Description
A single bank is seen as a crop mark running east to west on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the east of Holton Heath (1). Due to its broad but linear shape (140m by 14m) it is possibly a ploughed out prehistoric lyntchet. The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
