A group of approximately fifteen buildings are visible as extant structures on aerial photographs taken in 1948 just north of the beach at Seatown. The buildings may be associated with Second World War military activity or with the adjacent coastguard station. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). (1)
