A series of low earthwork banks are visible on lidar taken in 2009 between Upcot, Broom Cliff and St Gabriel's Cottage. They partially underlie the modern field pattern and may be field lynchets of medieval or even prehistoric origin. (1). The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
