A low hollow, 50m across, is visible on lidar taken in 2008 to the north of Nutcombe Close, Charmouth. It is considered likely to be a quarry of post medieval origin. (1) The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
