Full Description
A group of five probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as subcircular earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 at Rockley Sands, Poole. (1) Four measure approximately 4.2m in diameter the other is larger and measures approximately 8.2m. The craters are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2/3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
