Full Description

A possible modern wreck site, which may date from the Second World War, is visible as a submerged structure on aerial photographs to the southwest of Hamworthy. (1) The wreck measures 6.5m in length and approximately 2m in width. The site is visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
