A rectilinear field boundary is visible as an earthwork on Lidar imagery north of Halcombe Vale (1). It is partially marked on the first edition OS map (2) and is considered likely to be of historic date. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
