Full Description
Three circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Kimmeridge Bay (1-2), located in fields just above the cliffs. They are considered likely to be the remains of bomb craters associated with Second World War activity in this area. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are still partially visible as cropmarks on more recent aerial photographs (3).
