A linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Tyneham Cap (1). It appears to respect the modern field pattern and is considered likely to be the remains of a historic field boundary or trackway. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is still visible as a light earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
