Full Description
A pit is visible as an earthwork on Lidar images of Rings Hill (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval chalk pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
