Full Description
A circular hollow, approximately 5.4m in diameter, surrounded by an upcast bank, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Bindon Range (1). It is possible this could be the remains of a Second World War bomb crater. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
