A hollow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of Bindon Range (1-2). It is considered possible this could be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
