Two hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Little Bindon (1). It is considered possible they could be the remains of medieval or post medieval extractive pits. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images availabel to the project.
