A circular platform or structure base, approximately 14.8m in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs of Lulworth Cove (1). It is of uncertain date and function. It could potentially be associated with Second World War activities in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial image available to the project.
