A series of parallel linear banks and ditches are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2). It is considered likely these are the remains of cultivation marks associated with medieval or post medieval activities in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
