A rectangular structure, approximately 15m x 4m, is visible on aerial photographs of Dungy Head (1). It lies within the extents of a rifle range marked on the first and second editions of the OS map (MWX3984). It is possible this structure could be a target related to modern use of this site. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
