Summary

A circular mound surrounded by an outer ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north of Hambury Farm. It is possible this could be the remains of a late prehistoric round barrow.

Full Description

A circular mound, approximately 22.6, surrounded by a 2.2m wide outer ditch, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north of Hambury Farm (1). It is possible this could be the remains of a late prehistoric round barrow. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
