Full Description
A small circular bank, approximately 6.3m in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of The Warren (1). It is possible this could be upcast associated with a post medieval chalk pit, although evidence of there being an internal pit is unclear. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
