Summary

A group of dispersed rectilinear enclosures and structures are visible as earthworks and structures on aerial photographs of West Bottom, Chaldon Down. It is considered possible they could be associated with Second World War activity in this area, although an earlier, post-medieval date for the enclosures cannot be ruled out either.
