A linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1), running northwest-southeast across White Nothe cliff. A earthwork is marked here on the 1st Edition OS map (2). This feature is of undertain date and function. It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is still visible as a low earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
